Level 3 Asbestos Safety Leader

This instructor-led course meets all WorkSafeBC requirements for the Level 3 Asbestos Safety Leaders Course. It is required for individuals who plan, oversee, supervise, or manage asbestos abatement projects. Participants will develop the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to ensure safe, compliant, and effective asbestos management on worksites.
  • Level: Advanced
  • Duration:  3 - 4 hours 
  • Prerequisite:  Level 2: Asbestos Safety
  • Format: Instructor-Lead Training

All workers in British Columbia covered by the OHS Regulation must obtain their asbestos abatement certification by January 1, 2024, to continue working on any site where asbestos is present.

Any worker conducting asbestos abatement work in relation to a building must be certified, even in situations where a company license is not required.
